Roman Hippodrome: The Hippodrome is an ancient Greek stadium designed for horse racing and especially chariot racing. Its Roman counterpart was called a circus and best represented, one best heritage from the Roman Empire:
What To See At The Hippodrome? The Hippodrome itself is a large green open-air park and there are 3 important monuments in its central area to see:
1. The Egyptian Obelisk: Built-in the 16th century BC by the Pharaoh Tutmosis in Egypt. It was brought to Istanbul by boat in the 4th century AD.
2. The Serpentine’s Column: Originally erected in the Temple of Delphi in Greece, but taken to Istanbul. Until the 17th century, three bronze snakeheads were projecting from the column, but they have since been lost. One can be seen in the archaeological museum.
3. The Column of Constantine: Although it is believed that this dates from the 10th century, evidence shows that it was built earlier than that. Until 1204, it was covered by bronze and silver. When the Crusaders came to the area, they pulled off the bronze and silver, melted them down, and made coins out of them.

The Princess Island: The Princess Islands consist of nine islands, five of them having permanent settlements and four without any settlement. Details of trip: We start to pick up the guests from their hotels or specific addresses early morning between 08:00 and 09:15. Then, we meet with the guide at the port and board the boat for the Princess Islands tour. After an approximately 1 hour pleasant boat journey, we reach our first destination,
Heybeliada (which may sometimes be a different island). Heybeliada is the second-largest among the islands but the greenest. With our guide, we have about 1 hour of free time. Later, we continue our tour and head to Büyükada. After our guide provides the necessary explanations, we take a break for lunch, with an excellent presentation of Turkish dishes. Free time is given after lunch, you can explore the islands or savor local flavors. After the allotted free time, you will reconvene with the guide at the designated meeting point and return to Istanbul. Finally, upon your return to Istanbul, there will be a stop for shopping. After shopping, we will drop you back at your respective hotels.
